Description

The purpose of the Administrator - Sustainability role is to support the Sustainability Teams at Evolution Red lake Operation though administrative duties.

Other areas of responsibility will include the management of Sustainability systems focussed on document control and the Sustainability data system - INX.


Roster: 5 days on / 2 days off / 4 days on / 3 days off - 9.5 hour shifts

Local/Residential Role - NO FIFO/NO CAMP

About our Operation


Our Red Lake Operation is located in an area where you will experience the best in Northern lifestyle, in the heart of a lake-studded, boreal forest region in Sunset Country.

Red Lake is known for its natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and incredible Canadian fishing in the many freshwater lakes in the area.

The Red Lake district is located 180 kilometers north of Dryden about 100 kilometers from the Manitoba border in Northwestern Ontario, Canada.

It spans 42,000 hectares and has produced over 29 million ounces of gold since 1949.

Our Red Lake Operation includes underground mining and processing complexes in Balmertown and Cochenour, as well as the Bateman Project.

As Evolution's newest asset and our first in North America, we are excited by the opportunities here.

About the role


The Administrator - Sustainability role offers an exceptional opportunity to support the Sustainability Manager in setting up schedules, calendars, meetings, training, travel, and various events on and off site.


Key result areas in this role include:
Support the Sustainability Manager in setting up schedules, calendars, meetings, training, travel, and various events on and off site
Prepare and assist with presentations, reports, minutes of meetings, special projects, and miscellaneous documents
Preparing internal and external communications
Managing site social media - Facebook, LinkedIn

Compile weekly and monthly Sustainability data and reports

Site Champion for the Sustainability Reporting System - INX

Maintaining the site document control system

Scan, log, and load government orders into tracking system

Type, photocopy, and compile documentation, as required by Sustainability teams

Support the JOHS committee

Participation with the Community Contributions Committee

Plan and promote community meetings and events

Work in a healthy work environment with full support, cooperation and commitment to satisfy our operation's goal of being accident-free

Perform other duties as assigned with the Sustainability Teams

About you


As an Administrator - Sustainability, you will have a relevant College level diploma and/or workplace experience in Sustainability or Administrative roles.

It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate:

Valid Full Driver's License

Experience performing administrative duties

Knowledgeable in the Sustainability field - Health and Safety, Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).

Proficient in computer systems - Pronto, INX, Sharepoint

Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and environmental regulations.

Familiar with Sustainability reporting requirements

Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Effective organizational skills.

Cooperative and works well with others

Possesses a strong work ethic

Works well independently with limited supervision

Flexible team player

Encourages a climate of teamwork and cooperation

Fosters a balanced, positive work environment

Self-starter with proven ability to work independently with mínimal supervision

Ensures confidentiality in all company dealings
