Job Title:
Administrative Assistant


Job Location:
Downtown Vancouver (Waterfront), free employee parking

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday; 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (flexible start and end time)

Compensation:
$25 per hour plus benefits (Extended Health, Dental, Short-term Disability, Travel Insurance, Life Insurance, AD&D and Employee Assistance Program).

Vacation: 2 weeks; additional week in the 3rd, 7th and 10th year of employment.

Canfisco harvests, processes and markets sustainable seafood from the coastal waters of British Columbia and Alaska. Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls for the department.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Store, retrieve and disseminate information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain project folders as well as department databases and filing systems.
  • Sort, code and file documents both in electronic and hard copy format.
  • Other administrative projects as assigned.

Requirements:


  • 1 year of experience in an administration/office role is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and take ownership of a task or project.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment (scanners, fax machines, photocopiers).
  • Diploma in Administration, Business Management or related courses are an asset.
We are located on the waterfront in downtown Vancouver with easy access to public transit and free employee parking.

$23.00-$25.00 per hour
