- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications, and peripherals
- Provide expertise and support during systems upgrades, installations, conversions and file maintenance
- Oversee systems development and enhancement and the integration of new systems with existing systems
- Develop standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to IT staff and to end-users
- Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services
- Ensure cybersecurity measures are implemented and maintained, including system monitoring, patch management, antivirus, and firewall configurations
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and evaluate new solutions and implementations to ensure they meet business and system requirements
- Manage IT inventory, including computers, servers, routers, switches, printers, and backup solutions
- Manage servers, security solutions, network hardware and equipment
- Manage telecommunications infrastructure and development plans, projects, policies and procedures
- Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements
- 2 to 3 years proven experience in IT Solutions
- Microsoft Exchange Administration Experience
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including system security, threat detection, patch management, and endpoint protection.
- External / Internal DNS management, Domain Management
- Desktop support & familiarity with ticketing systems
- Dental software and/or healthcare experience, knowledge of PIPEDA/PHIPA
- Word-press Website Management/Development Experience
- Cloud backup knowledge & local backup experience
- Cabling/wiring experience (Cat5/6, running cable, patching cable)
- Experience with Fortinet, SonicWall, Ubiquiti, Cisco, routers/firewalls
- Experience with Grand stream, Yeastar, Asterisk-based phone systems
