Duties and Responsibilities:


Reporting to the Director, Staff and Labour Relations (Professional Services), the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to the Talent Acquisition team in the recruitment and selection process, orientation, and onboarding for professional services staff in a high-volume, multi-union environment.

The incumbent will also be responsible for coordinating casual pool recruitment.

Qualifications:


The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:

  • Knowledge of office administration policies, procedures, and processes
  • Knowledge of collective agreements, recruitment and selection, orientation, and onboarding policies, procedures, and processes
  • Knowledge of office as well as the broader university academic units, departments, and divisions
  • Knowledge of office productivity software and databases, internet browsers and search engines, disciplinespecific software, enterprise software, and technology devices
  • Knowledge of cultural competency and diversity in a business context

Education and Experience:


The above is normally acquired through:

  • The completion of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience and education.
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (eligible)
  • Minimum of four years of related administrative experience including a combination of customer or client service, recruitment, selection, orientation, or onboarding.
