Description

Proactive member of the Finance team, contributing to all aspects of the public company corporate finance role, with broad exposure to the challenges and rewards of global growth within the changing dynamics of the public equity markets.

This position provides analytical, planning, forecasting and financial reporting support directly to ATS' executives.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Analysis of Life Sciences division's performance
  • Consolidation of segment results, both financial and operational
  • Assisting in Command and Control for the segment
  • Implementing the best practices in the divisions
  • Assisting in all ad hoc projects
  • Assisting Cambridge division in planning and analysis budgets, forecasts, variance analysis
  • Review and analyze the results and propose method to monitor costs better
  • Review business models for each revenue stream and identify key drivers
  • Review business models, identify key drivers for each division, define measurement system and monitor performance of each division
  • Work with the other members of the Finance team on special projects.
  • Perform benchmarking with internal and external data
  • Assist in special projects, internal audits, treasury, etc. as required.
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Education:


  • A professional accounting designation such as CA, CPA or CMA.

Experience:


  • At least two years of experience in planning and analysis role and/or support of operations
  • Strong analytical, financial and accounting skills, as well as an ability to significantly contribute to the management of the company are key. Significant budgeting and forecasting experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision and guidance in a team oriented environment is mandatory.
  • Individual must have an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within and outside of the organization, both orally and in writing.
  • Individual must be handson, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with PC based accounting systems and software tools are required
