_Account Manager_

Location:
Mississauga, Ontario


_Responsibilities_

  • Initiate discovery calls, scoping for new opportunities, product presentations, technical deep dives, and standard/custom demonstrations.
  • Analyze technical needs, requirements, and state of a customer's current technical environment and operations;
  • Identify opportunities and develop technical solutions to meet customer's needs and requirements;
  • Communicate the role and value of technology solutions to customers;
  • Lead the Business Development team with RFQ/RFI, bids, proposals, and SOW;
  • Provide input to the Business Development team and the Management regarding changing market conditions/competitor activities;
  • Travel to support client meetings, attending training and vendor events.

_Basic Qualifications_

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent;
  • A minimum of 5 years of Engineering experience or Business Development role in a technical environment;
  • Logical problemsolving approach, ability to clearly communicate business problems and proposed solutions to the customer;
  • Direct experience with RFQ, RFI, RFP, bids, proposals, and SOW would be an asset;
  • Experience in various domains would be an asset: Aerospace & Defense, Healthcare, Electronic Manufacturing, IT;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present in a group setting;
  • Ability to facilitate and conduct webinars/presentations to customers, including conceptual design and white boarding sessions;
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and Clevel executives;
  • Selfmotivated to develop and maintain skill set and product knowledge to maximize value and to deliver quality services to our customers;
  • Possesses a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow up skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
