THE ROLE
SAP Fioneer is currently looking for a driven and enthusiastic sales professional to join a growing sales team. The Account Executive has a focus on growing software license, subscription revenue, and services business in insurance and banking.

  • Leverage relationship skills to penetrate net new customers across North America in the Financial Services space.
  • Generating, nurturing and qualify leads. Convert leads to opportunities for yourself or others.
Close deals.

  • Supporting the business in generating demand, driving event attendance, and supporting senior sales team as required
  • Engage on conversations with prospects about the solution portfolio, including introductory conversations on the solution capabilities, implementation considerations and systems/partner ecosystem.
  • Curiosity
  • Interest in learning about the solution portfolio and becoming knowledgeable about it along with an interest and effort to learn about customers as companies and individuals.
  • Social maturity / likeabilityStrong brand representatives who are able to engage with business and IT decision makers at financial institutions.
  • Hunter mentalityPositive attitude doesn't get dissuaded by setbacks, and willing to have socially uncomfortable conversations. (Cold calling, challenger selling)
  • Team first approachAble to work with (sometimes lead, sometimes support) strong personalities, recognizes that making customers successful and winning in the market is the primary metric of success
  • Client centricityInterest in learning about the customer, investing time (but not too much) in learning their business and priorities, able to understand when to engage the right team member for the client need

Requirements:


  • 3+ years in successfully meeting/exceeding quota in a sales or business development/outbound role, preferably in financial services, and/or, cloud/SaaS, and/or Startup environment
  • Highenergy, handson, curious individual who is an avid learner and enjoys a fastpaced, resultsdriven startup culture where you can and are expected to make an impact
  • Able to navigate complex political environments and sales opportunities
  • Well versed on Financial Industries, with an emphasis on insurance and banking
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset, ideally in the InsurTech, FinTech, Financial Services, consulting firms and/or tech industry, startup experience highly desirable
  • Strong work ethic
  • High achiever, ambitious
  • Bilingual (English/French) a plus, but not required
