Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused
Countertop Showroom Consultant to join our team.

As a
Countertop Showroom Consultant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our clients and guiding them through the countertop selection process.

Your expertise in countertop materials, design trends, and product knowledge will help customers make informed decisions and create their dream spaces.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Greet and engage customers visiting the showroom, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Understand customers' needs and guide them in selecting the most suitable countertop options based on their preferences, budget, and project requirements.
  • Provide expert advice on different countertop materials, finishes, colours, and styles, highlighting their features, benefits, and maintenance requirements.
  • Present product samples and provide detailed explanations of product specifications and installation processes.
  • Assist customers in visualizing how different countertop options will look in their spaces by utilizing showroom displays, gallery samples, and available digital tools.
  • Prepare accurate quotes and estimates, ensuring transparency in pricing and services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and countertop material advancements to provide customers with uptodate information.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, and industry professionals to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the showroom, ensuring all product samples and marketing materials are properly displayed.

Requirements:


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively listen to and understand customers' needs.
  • Detailoriented with the ability to provide accurate information and quotes.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in the home improvement or interior design industry would be an asset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work on Saturdays (every six weeks or so) or extended hours based on customer demand.
