Telecon is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our growing Civil Team This is a field position/on the road.

Working under the supervision of the field supervisor or Foreman, he/she will drive various types of vehicles and trucks to transport equipment to project sites.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Operating the Hydro Vac truck while maintaining the vehicle.
Transport cargo and/or equipment in a safe manner
Use various equipment to move and install material according to project plans.
Complete Driver's logbook & daily vehicle inspection (pretrip, enroute, posttrip), maintenance and repair reports, accident, or incident reports

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

Completion of high school
2 plus years experience driving a hydro vac truck.
Fully trained in the operations and maintenance of the truck and comfortable trouble shooting and minor repairs in the field
Operate Vac truck in a safe manner.
Complete the daily maintenance programs as per equipment specifications.
Comfortable around underground utility services
Good communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
Must be able to lift 23 kg (50 lbs)
Valid driver's licence (DZ license)
Must provide a clean driving record (abstract) and criminal check prior to employment commencing.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Familiarity with CVOR requirements
