A bit about the job
Our Building Services team is dedicated to carrying out planned and reactive maintenance work throughout the SkyCity Hamilton site.

We require an experienced maintenance technician to join our team, providing professional and high quality planned and reactive maintenance and service to SkyCity Hamilton.

In this role you will ensure SkyCity Hamilton meets all regulatory compliance standards and all plant and equipment is maintained to a high standard including providing diagnostic analysis maintenance services on our bowling equipment in our bowling alley, Bowl & Social.

A bit about you:

• Previous exposure to routine building repairs including minor building works, plumbing, plastering, painting and tiling, using small hand tools and power tools
• Previous experience with machinery, equipment and plant repairs and maintenance including diagnostic analysis and the ability to recommend and undertake appropriate remedial action
• A good working knowledge of health and safety requirements
• A good level of computer literacy including Outlook
• Flexibility to be rostered on call to support SkyCity's 24/7 business needs and be able to work afterhours from time to time.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be well presented at all times as you will be coming into contact with our customers throughout the property.

As such, you will be a confident communicator with the ability to liaise with all internal and external stakeholders in a friendly, professional manner.
