Parkcraft is seeking a seasoned sales professional to develop, implement, and drive the sales process for playground and park products across Western Canada.

Your ability to communicate and build genuine relationships with team members and clients including, but not limited to, municipalities, developers, playground committees, and landscape architects, will be integral to your success.

This individual contributor role will focus on establishing a brand presence for Parkcraft, champion selling with integrity, and focus on seamless collaboration with the construction crews of GLV.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the GLV operations team and Parkcraft design team to identify and nurture potential leads.
  • Assist with RFP responses, takeoffs, and the preparation of quotes, ensuring each is tailored to accurately meet client needs and specifications.
  • Efficiently utilize and maintain the CRM system for sales tracking and client management.
  • Strategically create and refine sales and marketing plans to enhance business development.
  • Represent Parkcraft at trade shows to network and promote our products.
  • Develop and disseminate informative materials to effectively communicate product value.
  • Organize and conduct educational meetings and presentations to engage and inform clients.
  • Collect comprehensive client information to tailor quotes and proposals to their specific needs.
  • Forge and sustain positive relationships with business partners and customers.
  • Consult with clients to understand their requirements and advise on products that maximize play value within budget constraints.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and desired outcomes through diligent effort and strategy.
  • Keep current with the latest product innovations and trends within the playground and park industry.
  • Solicit, gather, and analyze customer feedback to inform business strategy and product development.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and maintain ethical conduct in all business dealings.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 35 years of sales management experience.
  • Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Certified Professional Manufacturers' Representative (CPMR) designations will be considered an asset.
  • A "hunter" style selfstarter with a knack for creating and maintaining a sales process.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Basic understanding of playground and spray park equipment.
  • Proven ability to manage sales pipelines and achieve sales targets.
  • Ability to organize and conduct educational events and workshops.
  • Interest in travelling to meet with clients face to face and attending industry events.
