Human Resources Associate Manager

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including but not limited to, scheduling interviews, maintaining employee files, and processing paperwork.
  • Processing semimonthly payroll in ADP Workforce Now for hourly and salary employees and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrolment, changes, and termination of benefits in Manulife.
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process, drafting job descriptions, job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and reference checks.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs.
  • Monitoring the performance of employees during their probationary period.
  • Conduct new employee orientation, prepare offer letters, and ensure all new employee paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Keeping the employee handbook and organizational staffing chart up to date.
  • Manage HRrelated projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Prepare and submit documentation to external agencies, such as workers' compensation claims, unemployment claims, and employment verification, among others.
  • Take part in meetings related to disciplinary action and termination.
  • Conduct negotiations with potential and existing employees on hourly and salary compensation and benefits.

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education in Human Resources.
  • Minimum of 23 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in processing payroll particularly in ADP Workforce Now
  • Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.
  • Experience with recruitment, employee onboarding, and benefits administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Detailoriented and organized.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fastpaced environment.
  • Stress tolerance

Salary:
$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
