About Us
The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, United and SNC-Lavalin. Shoreline Power Group will be completing the Fuel Channel and Feeder Replacement (FCFR) project.

The joint venture has been awarded a contract by Bruce Power to execute the Unit 6 and Unit 3 FCFR at the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station in Kincardine, Ontario.


This project is part of Bruce Power's Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power's CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064, the project is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program to replace the main components of the reactor.

Unit 6 is the first of six reactors being replaced by Bruce Power through the MCR program.


The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders for Unit 6 and Unit 3, as well as construction management and trade labor.


Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Commercial Contracts Coordinator is responsible for providing accurate and timely commercial advice, consistent with their education, training, and experience, all in accordance with home companies' and Joint Venture project requirements and policies.


What You'll Do Here

  • Act as a point of contact to client for contractual matters when directed by Contracts Manager
  • Liaise with and provide guidance on contract matters to project team members
  • Coordinate the contract process with Finance, Project Managers, Project teams, Attorneys, Clients and Consultants
  • Draft or amend contracts and commercial agreements
  • Prepare project specific contract administration manuals
  • Creation of project specific contract administration tools, policies, and procedures
  • Generally, assist and support the Contracts Manager or a member of the Legal/Commercial group
  • Liaise with corporate legal, as required and acts as the point person for legal issues on behalf of the project team
  • Document significant events on project
  • Assist in development and administration of contracts with Subcontractors to ensure that required and relevant terms and conditions are flowed down to Subcontractors
  • Assist project staff with identification, documentation, notification, and quantification of changes in the Work and claims
  • Manages the financial considerations around change orders and claims
  • Draft commercial letters to client and subcontractors
  • Establish and maintain approved contract database
  • Monitor all aspects of contract and insurance compliance
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring To The Team

  • Postsecondary education in Engineering or relevant program
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry in project management / contract administration
  • Knowledge of construction project operations, policies, and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, and management
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Familiar with construction law, negotiating and drafting construction contracts
  • Understanding of construction planning and scheduling
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Organization and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Strong communication skills oral and written
  • Must be a selfstarter attitude with proactive, resultsoriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilities and proven ability to multitask
