Responsibilities:

Provide personal care to residents such as: bathing, dressing, aiding in ambulation, etc.
Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, assisting with meals as required, as well as the general tidying of resident apartment.
Provide companionship to residents.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Experience as a Personal Care Worker and the ability to perform the physical duties of a PCW.
Experience in Dementia care.
First Aid and CPR certificates.
Ability to relate to elderly persons, showing courtesy, compassion and understanding.
Must be flexible and reliable.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
A passion for providing customer satisfaction and quality service.
