We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our Peel-Halton, Ontario team as a Summer Seasonal Labourer.

Reporting to the Road Superintendent, the Seasonal Labourer is responsible for:

Yard and camp maintenance; washing vehicles;
Prepare and operate light equipment such as 1⁄2 ton trucks;
Perform garbage collection and litter picking of yard and in contract area;
Assist with fence repair, embankment repair, sign repair, pothole repair;
Assist with general turf maintenance i.e. mowing, trimming. Shrub/tree maintenance;
Report all accidents/incidents/injuries to the Supervisor and complete required documentation. Notify appropriate personnel regarding damage to equipment as well as needed repairs and/or operational problems;
Other duties as assigned
Valid Class G Ontario license in good standing;
Provide a clean driver's abstract;
Ability and willingness to work independently or as a part of a team; willing to travel
Helpful, friendly and courteous with the public, regulatory agencies and peers;
Punctual, willing to work shift work which includes weekend work and be willing to work during all seasons/weather

Emcon Services has the following conditions of employment: satisfactory drug pre-screening and Driver's Abstract.
