Hanson Canada is looking for an
English Second Language (ESL) Instructor to work at Hanson Language School at our Toronto Campus.

What You Will Do

Conduct language courses and/or specialized courses as outlined in the curriculum to international students as scheduled pursuant to the Classroom Timetable;
Implement language and specialized courses or other program curriculum outlines by means of classroom instruction and effective pedagogical methodologies;
Preparing daily lesson plans for assigned courses;
Compile supplementary teaching materials, undertake audio or video recording or other work as may be requested related to a course;
Assess and evaluate the outcome and effectiveness of student learning through classroom instruction, assignments, projects, presentations, midterm exams and final exams;
Recording student attendance, and enforcing school regulations and policies regarding student attendance;
Preparing reports of students' academic performance, recording and maintaining students' achievements from assigned courses;
Attend and participate in any professional development organized for instructors by the Company.

What You Will Bring

Bachelor's Degree and above
Recognized TESL qualification is a MUST
Experience in creating curriculum, evaluations and assignments
Studentcentered approach of teaching
Patient and attentive to student needs
Experience with English Language Learners and an international environment an asset
Good computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, online education resources/platforms)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational abilities are required.
Strong commitment to provide students with the best education experience
Ability to convey course material effectively, commitment to contribute to extra

- curricular activities and educational experiences for the students

Strong classroom management skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Dynamic, punctual, independent and selfmotivated
