    The Essence of the Associate Director Carrier Relations, Canada

    We are seeking a business development professional to manage and grow Sinch's A2P Supplier messaging (SMS, MMS, RCS) and data verification footprint and relationships with Canadian Carriers. This role is critical at maintaining positive and healthy relationships with our carrier partners, which is a core fundamental at Sinch. You will ensure our carrier partnerships are positively maintained and your finger will stay on the pulse on global messaging industry changes and themes. Your role is a combination of business development, leadership, technical understanding, cross-functional collaboration and tactical knowhow.

    Requirements

    As our Director of Carrier Relations in Canada, you will:

    • Grow strategic relationships with the Canadian Carriers which includes meeting with the carriers on an ongoing basis
    • Be the main point of contact within Sinch for all Canadian Carriers for A2P supplier relationships.
    • Lead connectivity agreements, contracts, and QBRs
    • Focus on expansion for A2P Operator/Carrier direct connectivity and drive down COGS through strategic negotiations
    • Represent Sinches voice of the Customer to the carriers when escalation above the internal teams occur
    • Represent the voice of the Carriers, CTA, and the Canadian market within Sinch to cross functional teams and at all levels, including executive leadership
    • Closely follow regional industry developments, and formulate plans for new services with operators, such as RCS, Mobile Identity and others to ensure that Sinch is at the forefront of sourcing such services and thereby making them available to include in services offered to enterprises
    • Network and engage both vertically and horizontally within Operators in order to build trust and agreement signature with target operators.
    • Identify joint Sinch opportunities, beyond A2P SMS termination, with mobile operators in your region and work together with the wider Sinch sales team to develop and close opportunities for Sinch's portfolio of products and services.
    • Coordinate with Sinch sales teams to ensure integrated strategy and messaging so that Sinch is truly seen as one cohesive company to the Operators
