Technical
Inside Sales Support - Spare Parts

  • Receipt and processing of spare parts enquiries from customers ensuring complete information is provided.
  • Locate necessary equipment documentation (drawings, specifications, datasheets) related to the spare parts.
  • Request missing documentation from Engineering or procurement as required.

Preparation of customer quotes:

  • Create historical files.
  • Obtain costing & lead times.
  • Generate sell pricing using established pricing formulas.
  • Creation of quote in ERP system.
  • Send quote to customers with follow up communication.

Generation of internal Purchase Requisitions including:

  • Creation of purchase request in ERP.
  • Conformation of purchase orders with earliest deliveries.
  • Order expediting and updated deliveries.
  • Assist with equipment suppliers and nominated internal stakeholder(s).
  • Progress/scheduling of spare part orders.
  • Maintain quote & order documentation.
  • Work with Quality Control (Q.C) to ensure the correct product is shipped.
  • Provide shipping/logistics with shipping documents and arrange delivery to customers if required.
  • Monitoring shipping status and provide customers with expedite report.
  • Send customer invoices.
  • Monitor stock movement and inventory of Spare Parts in ERP system and adjust as necessary. Help with annual counts.

Required Qualifications:


  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings (mechanical, hydraulic and electrical) with Autocad/Inventor.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Learn and understand our internal process flow.
