The incumbent is responsible for the environmental management system and provides quality support to the entire organization. It first offers support for development activities for the APQP and the development of control plans. Then, it supports quality in operations by implementing control tools and handling non-conformities. Finally, it is a key element in supporting quality issues for the customer.

A typical day in your daily life:

Quality

  • Supports Production Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) to define a disposition.
  • Follows up on internal quality issues and customer complaints.
  • Participates in problem solving; provides assistance in resolving nonconformities, customer complaints or supplier issues.
  • Prepares and writes modifications to control plans.
  • Prepares and writes procedures, work instructions and recording forms.
  • Conducts process and process audits internally.
  • Participates in various special projects and improvement projects.
  • Works closely with service technicians.
  • Supports testing and process improvements.
  • Develops tools to monitor and analyze warranty returns.
  • Participates in maintaining the various processes linked to IATF internal audits, customer satisfaction, corrective actions, preventive actions, documentation).

APQP

  • Provides support in the preparation of PPAP reports for submission and approval of OEM customers (Production Part Approval Process) test report and statistical studies.
  • Participates in the development of analyzes of failure modes, their effects and their criticality (FMEA)
  • Develops the control plan and sampling for inspection upon receipt and for quality control in production.
  • Supports R&R gauge studies.
  • Supports the production release of engineering changes.
  • Accesses and updates information in customer portals.

Health and safety

  • Ensures compliance with and compliance with factory and health and safety standards and regulations.

Environment and ISO 14001

  • Ensures management of the ISO 14001 system according to standards.
  • Manages, updates and makes changes to documentation for the ISO 14001 environmental system.
  • Prepares and coordinates external and internal audits. Assists external and internal auditors (ISO14001).
  • Follows up on noncompliances with the people concerned and ensures that corrective actions are carried out within the planned deadlines.
  • Acts as internal trainer on the (environmental) system.
  • Manages the documentary system of the environmental system.
  • Ensures compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Ensures legal monitoring.
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, metallurgical engineering or related field
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of experience
  • MS-Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) essential: very good knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC)
  • Knowledge of metrology
  • Knowledge of ASME Y 14.5 dimensional tolerances
  • Knowledge and mastery of standard points (ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001)
  • Problem solving tools (6 sigma Green Belt)

Essential Skills Required

  • Ability to interpret dimensional reports (CMM)
  • Skill in reading and interpreting drawings.
  • Mastery of statistical control
  • Good French (oral and written)
  • English advanced intermediate level (oral and written) to communicate with clients, suppliers and auditors who are based elsewhere in the world
