    In your role, you will

  • Participate in strategic meetings as a business partner for Bombardier's business development
  • Draft agreements and support your internal clients in negotiations with their customers and business partners
  • Act as a reliable and knowledgeable partner of choice to help elaborate and develop commercial and contractual strategies
  • Provide guidance and legal opinions on different contractual provisions and contract related issues which impacts Bombardier's day-to-day relationships with its customers and business partners
  • Be involved in claims management, including reviewing and negotiating settlement agreements
  • Proactively manage risk through training and coaching of your business partners, as well as through the creation and implementation of efficient contract governance processes
  • Lead M&A and respond to requests for proposals on behalf of the legal team
  • As our ideal candidate

  • You have a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation, M&A and/or sales contracts;
  • Experience with the FARS/DFARS will be considered an asset;
  • You hold a law degree and you are a member in good standing of a North America Bar for a minimum of 4 years. Training or experience in common law will be considered an asset;
  • You have excellent drafting and communication skills, with the ability to work fluently in both French and English (spoken and written); Spanish is an asset;
  • You have sound judgment, coupled with good business sense, allowing you to provide efficient and value-added advice and innovative solutions; and
  • You have the ability to operate and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
