Myo-Health Rehab and Wellness Centre has exciting opportunities for an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team of healthcare providers We are a private clinic that specializes in the treatment of clients injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents.

Joining this multi-disciplinary rehabilitation clinic with two locations in the GTA (Scarborough and Etobicoke) offers the right individuals the opportunity to collaborate with a team in providing exceptional care to our clients in a culture that is client-focused, diverse, inclusive and encourages personal growth.

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team

This position is for Full-Time hours, M-F 9am-5pm. (In Office / In the Community)

What your day to day would look like:

Implement a wide array of interventions as assigned by the occupational therapist

Interventions include:
assistive equipment education and training, ADL training and cognitive rehabilitation

Assist with assessments and intervention planning
Establish positive working relationships with clients
Observe and monitor client's performance and progress
Manage equipment, supplies, and inventory
Provide education and training to clients, family members, and caregivers
Maintain detailed and accurate client records
Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team (OT, OT, SW)
Create and maintain client schedules.
What you need to be successful:
Strong time-management skills required.
Excellent communication skills required with an ability to collaborate with other team members and a strong understanding of when and how to make interdisciplinary referrals.
