Under the Chief Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work in a safe, unique, and motivating environment.
Your main duties will be:
- Analyze samples in compliance with current standards.
- Perform acid digestion of samples and densiometric analysis.
- Realize the various tasks according to current techniques to obtain accurate analyses on MP-AES and ICP-OES.
- Use the fire assay method to determine the quantity of metals in a sample.
- Maintain uptodate inventories of laboratory consumables.
- Work closely with the entire laboratory team.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- College diploma in analytical chemistry or equivalent, combined with three (3) years' relevant experience in a mining laboratory.
- Valid driver's license.
- Working knowledge of English is an asset.
