Baker Tilly RSG LLP is currently looking for 2
Accounting Technicians for full-time hours per week, plus overtime during March and April) permanent positions to join our team in our Edmonton office, located at Avenue NW.

Your primary responsibilities will include:


  • Assistance with and preparation of compilation engagements under CSRS 4200, including preparation of adjusting journal entries, financial statements and corporation income tax returns
  • Assistance with and preparation of client bookkeeping
  • Assistance with and preparation of personal income tax, T4, WCB and T5 returns
  • Supporting various projects and administrative tasks as required
  • 35 years of experience in a public practice firm setting
  • Completion of a postsecondary bookkeeping certificate or accounting diploma or degree required
  • Completion of basic Canadian Income Tax preparation course(s) or experience in Canadian income tax preparation required
  • Enrollment in or completion of a recognized professional Accounting Designation is an asset
  • Accomplished in multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet multiple deadlines with adaptability to changing priorities
  • Ability to make decisions and problem solve independently within the scope of the position
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills
  • Experience with any of Caseware, TaxPrep, Docit, QBO, Xero and/or Microsoft Suite is an asset
