    Director of Housekeeping

    Reporting to the Director of Rooms, the Director of Housekeeping is responsible for leading, coaching, and inspiring a Housekeeping Team of over 100 people in our 519-room hotel. We are looking for someone with a passion for people and a relentless commitment to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction for both our guests and colleagues.

    Salary Range: $90,000 - $95,000 per annum

    Job Duties Include:

  • Select, lead, train, recognize and reward the team of Housekeeping Leaders and Colleagues, positively impacting both colleague and guest satisfaction
  • Ensure the clean and orderly appearance of the Hotel at all times by effective planning, management, and supervision
  • Oversee administration and management of all Housekeeping operations including scheduling, payroll, and supply and inventory control. Preparing capital and operational Housekeeping budgets
  • Participate in the effective management of employee relations within the department through involvement in development discussions, reviews, and consistent performance management
  • Work closely with the Recruitment Manager to take a proactive approach to sourcing applications, interviewing, and selecting the best candidates according to the Housekeeping Manpower Plan
  • Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-3 year's experience at a senior level in Housekeeping/Rooms Division in a luxury hotel is an asset
  • Proven ability to successfully lead and motivate a large, multi-cultural team
  • Completion of Corporate training programs such as Service Promise, Interaction Management, and Train the Trainer
