Description
Responsibilities
- Initially manage a small team (5 to 7 BAs and developers) and as the company grows,
- Develop and maintain scalable, PDF printable reports, currently based on Microsoft's SSRS technology.
- Help the team write efficient SQL queries, functions and procedures to load, retrieve and process data from PostgreSQL
- Interact with our REST API to generate financial performance metrics
- Work with architects to propose automation and improve infrastructure
- Deploy, test, QA and troubleshoot reports on client environments
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent area
- Minimum 3 years experience managing a team (ideally on a startup environment)
- Minimum 5 years experience with SQL
- Minimum 3 years of report development experience using BI/ reporting tools
- Previous experience with SSRS is highly desirable but not required
- Proven track record of developing innovative solutions to unique problems
- Aptitude and ability to quickly learn and begin improving complex systems
- Familiarity with financial reporting and investment terminology
- Working knowledge of Git and GitHub
- Exposure to data formats such as YAML and JSON
- Programming experience with Python is a plus
