- Manage a team of Product Engineers workingon diverse DFT technologies and productsMotivate,inspire, and grow the technical knowledge and careers of Product EngineersBuilda team of subject-matter experts (SMEs) who are trusted advisors to customersand internal R&D teamsWorkclosely with Product Managers to align PE tasks and yearly goals with productobjectives, strategies, and prioritiesSetthe example as a subject-matter expert, demonstrating technology, debug, andtool use knowledge
- Execute technical DFT andcross-functional projectsDefineand characterize new product capabilities needed to meet customer requirementsExpertuser of Tessent products in field of expertiseWorkcollaboratively with Tessent R&D to prototype, evaluate, and test new DFTproducts and features within complex IC design flowsWorkthrough complex technical issues and independently create solutions and newmethodologiesLeadbeta programs and support beta partnersExplaincomplex principles in simple terms to broad audiencesCreate and deliver in-depthtechnical presentations, training material, white papers, contributed articles,and application notesDevelop and reviewtool documentation such as User and Reference manualsWorkwith customers as well as Siemens EDA stakeholders including regionalapplication engineers, global support engineers, and marketing
- Some travel, domestic andinternational
- BSdegree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, ComputerEngineering, or related field is required.
- Musthave 8-10 years of experience, including 4+ years of experience in DFT for complexASICs / SOCs in some of the following areas: Automatic test pattern generation(ATPG), internal scan, embedded scan compression (EDT), packetized testdelivery (SSN), memory built-in self-test (MBIST), logic built-in self-test(LBIST), IEEE 1687 IJTAG, analog design and simulation, and hierarchical DFTimplementation.
- Experiencein managing and leading a team of engineers.
- Knowledgeof IC design trends and emerging requirements
- Exposureto one or more adjacent IC disciplines such as the following a plus:RTL coding and verification usingVerilog/SystemVerilog/VHDLSynthesis and timing analysisPlace and routeAdvanced IC packagingDFT and test for embedded IP coresFailure diagnosisATE use / test program development
- Proficiencyin a scripting language like TCL (preferred) or Python
- Experiencewith Tessent products and flows is a plus
- Self-motivatedand results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellentorganizational skills
- Excellentwritten and verbal English language communication skills
- Proficiencyin LINUX and Windows environments
