- Use existing engineering and software tools to:
- Lead reliability analysis of Enbridge slope and river crossings.
- Assess pipeline integrity at locations with bending stresses and girth weld flaws.
- Conduct risk assessments for pipeline appurtenances.
- Determine the likelihood of off-property release at facilities.
- Connect with department partners when implementing risk results within mitigation plans.
- Support continual improvement of pipeline risk analysis tools, models, and processes.
- Engineering degree. Registered member, or eligible to register with APEGA as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Alberta (P Eng).
- 6 years of related experience.
- Critical thinking skills related both to technical engineering/reliability analysis and project management.
- Technical writing skills.
- Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Office based in Edmonton.
- Under 5% travel.
