Service Laborer (SUMMER STUDENT)

Responsibilities

Packing small and large parts for shipping to the customer, ensuring that the packaging is adequate to arrive undamaged by building pack pallets for the larger items/order as required.

Ensure that all components are ready for shipping and that they are secured safely for transport.

Sorting and numbering parts for easy accessibility and organization using 5s audit system.

Conducting inventory counts and creating pictorial inventory of parts with their dimensions.

Assist with the drafting Safe Work Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures for various tasks and processes for training purposes.

Support the review and audit of installation manuals under the guidance of a qualified Field Service Technician.


Qualifications

_ Must be enrolled in a post secondary institution._
Prior use and knowledge of measuring devices i.e. tape measures is a must.

Basic computer skills

Basic literacy and numeracy skills

Must be able to work in a team environment, physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Possess a good attention to detail.

Any experience working in a manufacturing setting would be an asset.
