Position Summary

This role will support Marketing and Medical operations focusing on:
Purchase Orders
Ad Boards activities including Monitoring and Document storage.
Medical Activity.
Transfer of Value
Operations Specialist is a creative problemsolver who will prioritize productivity and drive operational efficiency.
Streamline internal processes.

Responsibilities

Purchase Order Process/Coordination
Ad-Boards Monitoring and Storage
Medical Activity
Transfer of Value

(TOV)

Insights generation to support strategic and operational planning.
Effective team leadership skills strongly preferred, including risk management, skill development, task prioritization, performance management, and mentoring/coaching of crossfunctional team members.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands on time, in crossfunctional, virtual and teams.
Strong collaboration skills using a solutions and customerserviceoriented approach is required.
Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity and build upon what is needed and known.
Proven ability to take initiative and lead projects.
Able to work in a highly dynamic environment able to shift priorities at short notice and work to demanding deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interface with external, internal and GSK international customers in a matrix environment.
Strong computer skills to work with various systems like SAP, Concur and MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science, Finance or Business degree preferred.
General knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and Canadian healthcare system is an asset but not required.
High sense of initiative with a Business Owner mindset.
Creative, persuasive individual who works well in a team environment.
Proven ability to deal with ambiguity, take initiative and lead projects.
Results oriented with a proven ability to prioritize work and meet challenging deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to facilitate group meetings.
Welldeveloped communication skills including listening, summarizing, probing, clarifying.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new ways of working and identify opportunities for personal development.
High level of business integrity and ethics.
