Financial Analyst

Blue Ant Media is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support the corporate finance team headquartered in Toronto and the growing global business internationally.

We are looking for someone who is ready to work in a fast growing media company, and will succeed with working within deadlines and providing strong financial reporting for assigned responsibilities.

The Financial Analyst will be empowered to identify issues, provide strong analysis on monthly reports and continually seek opportunities for process improvements, all while embracing sharing their knowledge within a tight-knit finance team.

What You'll Be Doing

Successfully complete monthly reporting and assist your Finance Manager in audit processes
Successfully coordinate the integration of new content and programming into the accounting workflow
Coordinate reporting across multiple systems and workflows
Coordination between the various content stakeholders across the business.

What You'll Bring

Experience with program accounting, or a background in complicated fixed asset management/accounting
Advanced Excel skills
A background in NetSuite would be a major asset
An understanding of content accounting would be a major asset
3 years of accounting experience within a relevant industry
Ability and experience of working to financial deadlines
Postsecondary education in accounting
Previous experience in fixed asset accounting
Strong communication skills
Strong technical skills
