About us

Canopy Health is a multidisciplinary practice located in the heart of Lynn Valley, North Vancouver, where we have been serving the community for over 10 years. Our clinic has recently changed ownership to become a Midwife and Nurse Practitioner led Primary Care Centre working alongside Allied Health providers to create a holistic approach to community healthcare needs.

This fast paced clinic is looking for a Front Desk / Office Assistant(s) to join our team. We are seeking full and/or part time employee(s) for a long term employment commitment.


Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Answering and triaging all in-coming office phone calls.
  • Processing payment/insurance for Allied Health (using Jane).
  • Keeping on top of a large amount of laundry for Allied Health.
  • Scanning, photocopying, faxing and other office administration while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Provide administrative support such as general office tiding and cleaning, mail pick up and LifeLab drop offs.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a front desk position, ideally at a medical clinic.
  • Experience with the Jane booking software and/or Oscar charting software is a strong asset, or high level of EMR knowledge.
  • Attention to detail while maintaining efficiency is essential.
  • A genuine enjoyment working with people, including the public; professional and friendly attitude is a must.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.

Position Requirements:


  • Proficiency with both written and verbal English language communication
  • Previous experience working as a Office Assistant is an asset.
  • Familiarity with OSCAR and Jane EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems is an asset
  • Employees will be required to sign confidentiality agreements & will be supported to acquire PIPEDA certification.

Salary:
$23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
