Shop Technician with Mechanical & Welding Experience

What you offer

Mechanical and welding experience:

  • Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in trade
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn in house programs
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding duties
  • Able to work some hours on weekends to accommodate customer deadlines.
  • Great communication skills
  • Manage Inventory.
  • Ability to make good decisions under pressure
  • Motivated to get the job done in an efficient manner and to specifications
  • Possess excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and abilities.
  • Be proficient in English, both verbally and written.
  • Manage the shop and shop personnel
  • Prioritize repair work based on urgency and requirements
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment
  • Willing to work overtime
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Completing written work orders and associated paperwork in an accurate and timely manner

Summary
As a Shop Technician with The DPF Company Inc., you'll be working on al types of aftertreatment filters. This will include carrying out diagnostic tests and repairs to a variety of makes and models of filters. This position is based in our shop.

Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$25.00-$35.00/hour
