    Position Summary

    The Business Analyst is a role which combines business analysis and project management disciplines. This role shares responsibility for ensuring that quality systems exist for the business to fulfill their contractual obligations, business functions, and strategic initiatives.
    The Business Analyst facilitates communication between organizational units and ICT. They are involved in the early planning stages of projects and must elicit and synthesize project information provided by stakeholders who interact with the business such as customers, staff, IT professionals and executives. The Business Analyst documents the needs (requirements) of stakeholders using SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Time-Bound/Testable) principles.
    The Business Analyst shares responsibility for validating systems to ensure they are fit for intended use prior to their release into production and produces project documentation deliverables as necessary.

    Schedule Work Hours

    Monday to Friday hours/week.

    Qualifications

    1. College Diploma or University degree in Computer Sciences and/or 2 plus years related industry experience
    2. Experience in computer programming in a scientific/medical setting preferred
    3. Demonstrated knowledge of Programming Languages including ExtJS 4+ (Sencha), JavaScript, HTML(5), CSS(3), ASP.NET MVC; Server Side: .NET 4+, C#, API Design, Web Services, various protocols
    4. Demonstrated knowledge of data: SQL Server 2005+, (Reporting, Analysis, Integration Services), JSON, XML
    5. Strong communication skills, thoughtful and thorough analysis and proposals, strong writing skills
    7. Certification in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundations
