  • Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst to join our finance team.

As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various accounting functions specific to our enterprise operations.

Your primary focus will be on accounting for leases in accordance with IFRS 16, analyzing intangible assets and IT expenses, handling special month-end accruals, addressing corporate tax issues, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations, and managing monthly income tax provisions and annual deferred income tax calculations.

Additionally, you will be involved in accounting worksheets and supporting the financial reporting aspects of Internally Generate Software. This role requires technical expertise, excellent analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of enterprise accounting principles.


Responsibilities:


  • Accounting for Leases
  • IFRS 16: Ensure compliance with IFRS 16 standards by accurately recording and reporting leaserelated financial information. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather lease data, calculate lease liabilities and rightofuse assets, and prepare accurate lease accounting schedules and disclosures.
  • Intangible Asset Accounting & IT

Expense Analysis:
Analyze and account for intangible assets and IT expenses. Conduct thorough assessments to determine the appropriate accounting treatment, including capitalization, amortization, and impairment testing. Provide insights and recommendations on optimizing IT expenditure.

  • Special Month-

End Accruals:

Manage and reconcile month-end accruals for special expenses related to external partners, such as auditors, legal, and other professional services.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely recognition of these expenses.

  • Corporate Tax Issues: Collaborate with our tax consultants to address and resolve complex corporate tax issues. Provide necessary financial data and documentation to support tax compliance and reporting requirements. Assist in tax planning and identify opportunities to optimize tax positions.
  • Transfer Pricing: Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations by accurately documenting and reporting intercompany transactions. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather relevant data and prepare transfer pricing documentation and reports.
  • Monthly Income Tax Provisions: Prepare accurate monthly income tax provisions, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. Collaborate with the tax team to gather necessary financial data, perform tax calculations, and reconcile income tax accounts.
  • Annual Deferred Income Tax Calculation: Coordinate and perform annual deferred income tax calculations. Review and analyze deferred tax assets and liabilities, tax carryforwards, and other relevant tax items. Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
  • Monthly Accounting Worksheets: Prepare and maintain monthly accounting worksheets, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. Reconcile accounts, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
  • Internally Generate Software Project: Provide financial accounting support for the capitalization of internally generated intangible assets under IAS 16. Collaborate with the IT team to develop budgets, track expenses, and ensure proper capitalization of internally generated software assets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA designation is highly preferred.
  • 12 years of experience in enterprise accounting, with a focus on lease accounting (IFRS 16), intangible asset accounting, and corporate tax.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and external partners.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, including monthend close processes and accrual accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, with the ability to perform complex data analysis, create financial models, and utilize advanced functions and formulas.
