Role:
Test Lead


Location:
On-site (Regina, SK)


Contract Duration:3 Years


Working Hours:8 AM to 5PM (40 hours week)


Anticipated Start Date:
Aug 7, 2023


Anticipated Evaluation Timeframe:
Evaluation process will take - 3 weeks.


Certifications & Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Commerce, Computer Science or similar postsecondary education is required

Skills and Experience:


  • Minimum of five years' experience as a Test Lead is preferred, with a strong focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Proven work experience as a Test Lead or similar role
  • Proficient in developing UAT strategy for a multitude of projects, enhancements, and defects
  • Experience with Agile methodologies considered an asset
  • Proficient knowledge of and hands on experience with HP ALM and Trello to ensure collaboration with IS teams
  • Familiarity with Invision, Microsoft Teams, and Asana software considered a strong asset
  • Team player, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to multitask
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to document, maintain and reference test scripts
  • Strong attention to detail throughout the entire testing a defect process

Domain Knowledge Requirements:


  • Familiarity with the entire selfserve process considered a strong asset (i.e. eComm Browse/Buy, mySASKTEL portal, and mySASKTEL App)
  • Knowledge in additional software such as BCC, Endeca, and WebMethods considered an asset
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for both wireline and wireless considered an asset (i.e. eComm ATG, Salesforce, Siebel)
  • Familiarity with the telecommunications industry considered an asset

Responsibilities:


  • Develop UAT strategies and plans to ensure alignment with product roadmap and development sprints
  • Comprehend user stories and requirements, collaborate closely with product owners and IS teams
  • End to end management of UAT for selfserve release testing, ensuring utilization of source system processes in internal test regions
  • Establish and record, test scripts and acceptance criteria for project and enhancements
  • Maintain library of test scripts and tools with user stories and business rules crossreferenced
  • Manage end to end UAT issue logs and manage defect repository
  • Manage and prioritize defects, and assist developers in the resolution of defects
  • Participate in release control processes to ensure the solution meets user requirements
  • Mediate with multiple organizational groups to implement UAT processes and design standards
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing for large corporate projects

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract


Salary:
$50.00-$60.00 per hour
