Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area.

You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Report to the assembly leader.
  • Daily standard work requirements for safety PPE use and selection.
  • Read and interpret drawings and drawing changes.
  • Understanding parts lists and corresponding item numbers.
  • Perform MRP transactions as needed for point of use inventory.
  • Responsible for the complete Safe assembly of Mechanical Components & in a custom high mix low volume environment.
  • Responsible for the final quality of the assembled components delivery from the cell.
  • Use precision measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Understand mechanical assembly techniques and assembly hardware.
  • Familiarity with Chemical, safety, and ESD requirements for final assemblies.

YOU MUST HAVE:


  • Minimal of a Mechanical trade school or Engineering diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years assembly experience directly related to the assembly of precision mechanical, electrical and circuit board components

  • Demonstrated skill and experience in stainless steel precision machined component assembly
  • Hands on experience working with a complete array of hand and power tools
  • High degree of skill in reading AUTOCAD assembly drawings
  • Experience in a lean environment using 55 / Visual Management tools
  • Self motivated, process driven, and results orientated, team player
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in finished product
  • Proven ability to work unsupervised, and can make good highproduction and customerfocused decisions daily
