inHEALTH is a boutique injury claim adjusting firm specializing in accident benefits and bodily injury claims. inHEALTH is the only resource in Ontario that provides tools and services that are designed to help personal injury insurance adjusters and legal professionals navigate the complex auto insurance scheme. Our subscribers find our educational resources invaluable. They have access to our LAT research database, targeted Outcome Analysis Reports (OARs), continuing education courses, blog posts and 3 weekly Newsletters specifically devoted to disputed SABS cases ranging from Minor Injuries to Catastrophic Impairment
As a Legal Research Associate you will be expected to support research and hearing services across a customer portfolio that includes automobile insurers, law and accounting firms and medical companies. As both a research and customer-facing role, the ultimate goal will be to maximize customer engagement and product development. You will be a key contributor to inHEALTH's exciting growth. This role offers the opportunity to gain grounding in personal injury case management.

Job Responsibilities:
Case File Reviews and Hearing Services
Analyze License Appeal Tribunal and Divisional Court accident benefits decisions
Draft analysis into concise case summaries
Organize, categorize and record information from decisions into a proprietary software
Ensure integrity and accuracy of content entered in the proprietary software by using subject matter terminology
Adherence to the publishing schedule and compliance with standards, including editorial benchmarks and quality assurance measures
Provide data analysis and research support for subscribers via Live Chat and email
Work in collaboration with the technical team

b>Qualifications:

Graduate of an accelerated law clerk or paralegal program
Graduate from a top Canadian university (preferred)
Strong writing and analytical skills
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail with a desire to take initiative
Ability to learn quickly and to work in an agile manner, shifting/pivoting to new assignments as needed.
Knowledge of Statutory Accident Benefits (SABS)/personal injury and alternate dispute resolution, an asset
Demonstrates a keen interest in law and technology.
Has a strong desire to create legal research tools
Able to work independently with minimal direction and as part of a team
