What Else You Get To Do:

Administration

  • Prioritize workflow as needed, draft correspondence, coordinate weekly & monthly meetings and materials for senior leadership team
  • Coordinate all meeting requirements including scheduling, collection and preparation of background material, administration of reports, coordinating minutes and overseeing action tracking
  • Arrange all aspects of extensive travel requirements
  • Coordinate and implement various events and conferences
  • Manage, refer and escalate inquiries from internal and external parties by exhibiting a strong understanding of the department and company's priorities
  • Support business communications in collaboration with the Manager, Communications

Financial

  • Prepare expense reports, code invoices, and evaluate & recommend expense accounts for EVP approval
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process and coordinate accruals

Other

  • Anticipate needs and make confident decisions to contribute to an organized work environment
  • Establish and maintain positive, productive working relationships with internal and external parties. Manage these relationships in a manner that facilitates a positive corporate image, builds morale, supports cooperation, and aligns with our desired Energy Infrastructure Culture
  • Provide leadership, assistance, guidance and backup support to other administrative staff as required
  • Serve as an important liaison with the ATCO Corporate office

Who You Are:


  • Minimum of Postsecondary education in business administration. A combination of education and experience outside of the standards below may also be considered
  • Minimum seven years' experience in a senior administrative support role
  • Highly motivated, committed and results driven with a "cando" attitude.
  • Proven ability to proactively and enthusiastically manage the needs of a senior executive.
  • Positive and creative individual.
  • Teammate with excellent professional, interpersonal & organizational skills and has the ability to relate to all corporate levels, both internally and externally.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, prioritize and work within a fastpaced environment while remaining flexible and steadfast.
  • Superior competency in O365 suite. In depth knowledge of SharePoint is an asset.
  • Ability to use discretion and good judgment in handling confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently work independently, exercise good judgement and show initiative and agility.
