Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the fast-paced environment of our restaurant kitchen.

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals according to our recipes and guidelines, ensuring that each dish is cooked to perfection.

Your expertise in food safety and handling will be crucial in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

Duties:

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping fruits and vegetables, and cutting meat
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Clean and maintain workstations before, during, and after each shift
Ensure that food storage areas are organized and fully stocked
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Assist with meal preparation during busy periods or as needed
Collaborate with the kitchen team to prepare new menu items

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role in a restaurant or kitchen setting
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
Familiarity with food safety regulations
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of dishes
Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
