ENVIRONMENT-SUPERVISOR (1 PERMANENT POSITION)**

Reporting to the General Forman - Environment, the Environment-Supervisor has the delegated responsibility of supporting, advising, and ensuring the operational efficiency of the Environment Department and the various sectors in achieving compliance and adherence to environmental standards.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Coordinate and supervise the work of environmental technicians, agents, and external consultants.
- Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and plan schedules to achieve objectives.
- Ensure that team members are well trained and have the skills to perform their tasks safely and efficiently.
- Manage weekly, monthly, and annual environmental followups, as well as environmental and administrative emergencies.
- Ensure a positive work climate while promoting teamwork.
- Work with managers in other sectors to ensure that environmental protection laws, regulations, and authorizations, as well as the norms and standards to which Raglan Mine adheres, are respected, and applied in the field.
- Ensure compliance with Mine Raglan's health and safety procedures and with the rules essential to the protection of the environment.
Your profile:
- Hold a degree in environmental sciences or equivalent and a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience and three (3) years of relevant practical experience in the mining field.
- Ability to think critically, make decisions and communicate the rationale for those decisions in an operational context.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software as well as SAP,PI, EQWin, Power BI an asset.
- Driver's license required.
- Bilingualism in French and English.
What we offer:
- Work shifts of 11 hours per day.
- Rotation schedule of 2/2: equivalent to 2 consecutive weeks of work followed by 2 weeks of leave.
- Private air transport is provided from Montreal, Quebec, Rouyn-Noranda, Mont-Joli or Inuit communities (depending on place of residence) to the mine site and return.
