Andalusia Speech Therapy is hiring a weekend, contract Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) at our 99 Kakulu Rd location in Kanata

Our Mission

Help others communicate by providing quality speech therapy to individuals of all ages, economic and cultural backgrounds, and geographical locations, and participate as active members of our communities.

Provide therapy to preschool, school aged, teen, and adult clients.

We provide services in all areas of speech therapy except for swallowing (caseload: 80% pediatric, 20% adult)

Work under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist
Write therapy progress notes using the EMR system
Jane app
Develop therapy materials for use with individual clients
Collaborate and consult with SLP and other practitioners
Attend weekly mentoring sessions with Clinical Mentor

Experience and Qualifications

Communication Disorders Assistant Diploma (preferred but not required)
Member of CDAAC (preferred but not required)
Practical communication skills with colleagues, clients and their families, and third parties
Accepting of respectful feedback to improve clinical practice
Understanding and lived practice of inclusivity
Fluency in another language is considered an asset

Compensation

New grads start at $31.95 for each 45minute therapy session (including prep and note time)

- $25 travel top-up for in-home visits

Salary commensurate with experience according to company pay range
