Description

Stone Fabrication Machine Operator.
Atlas Stone Products Ltd is looking for motivated individuals to fill our growing team. Our facility has state-of-the-art equipment and a clean and organized working environment.

The facility is indoors, heated and each workstation is equipped with a crane to assist with the loading and unloading of materials.

We offer full medical benefits after 3 months and group RRSP enrolment after 1 year of employment.

This role has some lateral movement as we have many different types of equipment to learn on and multiple machines can be operated concurrently.

We are looking for a long-term employee whom we can train and invest in.

Responsibilities:

Reading shop drawings to determine job requirements.
Programming and operating various Stone Fabrication machines including Bridge Saws, Line Polishers, and CNC machine(s).
Loading and unloading of materials onto the machine.
Ensuring correct and accurate processing of work pieces.
Scheduling and managing workflow to meet timelines.
General maintenance and regular cleaning of equipment, tooling, and surrounding area.

Minimum Requirements:

Strong work ethic
Spoken and written English
Must possess an organized, thorough, and proactive nature.
Must be able to push, pull, and lift weights of lbs.
Ability to effectively communicate details and work within a team.
Ability to read and understand shop drawings.
Ability to work with measurements in metric and imperial.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
Computer literate
Applicants will require their own transportation.
