VERB is looking for a Program Manager who will provide strategic guidance to internal and external teams, while overseeing the progress of various interconnected projects.

They partner project management with business analysis skills and varied technology experience to be the big picture visionary who sees out integrated business solutions through to delivery.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the program lifecycle, from conception to launch, including defining project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Act as the program expert who has an intimate understanding of the entire solution
  • Work closely with project managers, cross functional teams, and internal and external stakeholders to execute project plans ensuring all milestones are met and deliverables are high quality
  • Define and prioritize key requirements for crossfunctional teams and external vendors
  • Develop and manage budget for projects and maintain accountability for delivering against established business objectives
  • Collaborate with all VERB internal departments including, Development, Marketing, UX and Creative, on key process efficiencies and remove roadblocks as necessary
  • Meet with stakeholders regularly, ensuring transparent communication regarding project issues and decisions
  • Craft requirement documents with technical specifications, functionalities and/or user stories
  • Develop and deliver enduser technical documentation and training
  • Analyze, evaluate and overcome program risks
  • Act as a client advocate and manage internal communications throughout the development cycle
  • Ensure collaboration and strong communication among team members and stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Delivery team

Requirements:


  • 5+ years of program or technical project management experience
  • Postsecondary education in project management, computer science, business, or equivalent experience
  • The following certifications are considered an asset:
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • Business Analysis Certificate (ECBA or CPRE)
  • ITIL V3 Foundation
  • Working knowledge of postman scripts, web sequence diagrams, UML diagrams, and familiarity with Swagger
  • Experience developing requirements, user cases and user stories
  • Experience implementing Agile project management methodologies
  • Experience working within a CMS (Wordpress, Drupal)
  • Knowledge of project delivery processes (Discover, Definition, Design, Develop, Deploy)
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Suite of products, i.e., Confluence and Jira, with experience managing projects within Jira
  • Experience managing stakeholders, with skills in leadership, time management, and facilitation
  • Highly organized with the ability to function in a fastpaced business environment
