Responsibilities:


  • Reporting directly to the Parts Manager, The Parts Technician will work as part of a team to sell, store, and supply parts to external customers and distribute parts to internal repair shop.
  • This position is a customer focused technical role that requires sales skills, excellent customer service skills, problem solving skills, and knowledge on heavy duty truck parts.

Skill set:

  • The ability to provide leadership and constructive team building skills to encourage positive employee contributions
  • Customer service focused to maintain a base of loyal customers, responsible for customer relations including resolving customer concerns.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to implement workflow procedures and continuous improvement initiatives for the parts department.
  • Computer use including processing parts and supplies, maintaining records, preparing orders, posting receipts, and sales contracts.
