Early Childhood Educator - Calgary, Canada - Little Worlds Learning Center

Description

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement ageappropriate lesson plans and activities for children
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
• Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's development

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in childcare or early childhood education
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and materials
• Proficient in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Ability to educate and engage children through creative teaching methods
• Familiarity with computerized learning tools is beneficial
• Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
• Demonstrated experience working with children in a classroom setting
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
