CAREER OPPORTUNITY:
Inventory Clerk

Shift timings: 10am - 6pm

Location:
Britannia and Kennedy-Mississauga, ON


Start Date:
As soon as possible

You will be responsible for the prompt and accurate Inventory Counts and cycle counts. Checking the short code products.
Updating the overstock and picking the products. You will confirm that all orders are accurate and assembled free from defects in a neat presentation. You will be required to follow all safe work policies and procedures and work to maintain a clean environment.


Role Specific Accountability include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Reorganize product in the warehouse based on movement.
  • Bringing new items, verifying all parameters (weight, cube, UPS, UOM, etc.)
  • Conduct daily cycle counts.
  • Adjusting and transferring product in ERP and WMS as required.
  • Responsible for addressing inventory issues in the warehouse (picking, receiving and shipping in ERP & WMS).
  • Create new pick and reserve locations.
  • Validate short code products and pull them as required.
  • Dealing with enquiries from Buyers and Order Desk.
  • Manage returns and credits.
  • Be required to act as backup for all inventory procedures in ERP/WMS.
  • Cross train on inventory process for CJR and Dairy Central.
  • Physical demanding: Lifting 50lbs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Educational /Technical Experience:


  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Walkie certifications an asset
  • Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
  • Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic mathematical skills.

Skill and Knowledge Requirements:


  • Ability to work in cold temperatures of 2 degrees Celsius.
  • Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs may be required.
