    Role Summary

    Reporting to the Senior Manager- Talent Acquisition, the TA Specialist will be a subject matter expert in sourcing and interviewing talent for the retail pharmacy sector. In this role, you will define and execute innovative search tactics using best practices to attract qualified candidates and manage the overall end-to-end recruitment processes. This role will have a heavy focus on early talent recruitment, and the successful candidate will also be responsible for driving & managing campus recruitment initiatives across universities and colleges in Canada. While this position is remote, the ideal candidate must be based in either AB or BC.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process from drafting job postings, candidate search, screening, selection, offer through to closing and placement
    • Conduct information gathering sessions with leaders/ managers to determine the appropriate knowledge, skills, and capabilities requirements prior to posting
    • Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential pharmacist applicants and generate interest in pharmacy using various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates including social media platforms, networking events and job fairs
    • Assess candidate skills and experience by conducting interviews
    • Ensure recruitment activity is updated regularly including weekly reporting on hiring, trends, successes, and challenges
    • Leverage international pipelines for pharmacy roles by working with various agencies and associations to create an international candidate pool
    • Partner with all the pharmacy schools at Canadian Universities and attend career fairs to create lasting relationships with graduating students. Generate strategies to lock in students in 2nd and 3rd year to create interest in pharmacy roles at Neighbourly.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment practices and resources by supporting projects and initiatives
    • Work closely with the Sr TA Manager to create and implement regional recruitment strategies

    Knowledge & Skills

    • Demonstrated understanding of talent acquisition methodologies
    • Experience using sourcing tools and methods for niche roles (i.e. healthcare roles) preferred
    • Strong knowledge and experience working with relevant social media, agencies and job posting boards, Resume databases and professional networks
    • Ability to forge new relationships and create partnerships within the talent acquisition community to foster growth of our talent pools
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with applicant tracking systems to report on progress
    • Strong time management, planning and organizational skills to manage competing priorities and meet weekly recruiting deadlines

    Qualification

    • Post secondary education in Human Resources or related field preferred
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter/TA specialist
    • Campus recruitment experience is required
    • Strong knowledge of job posting platforms and sourcing methods
    • Firm understanding and implementation of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills with proven ability to build trust at all levels of the organization
    • Experience working with a diverse team and striving for fairness in hiring
    • Ability to travel to across Canada, for various recruitment events.
