    About the Program

    The primary mission of the EPB is to enhance the self-reliance and economic well-being of the community members. To do so, it provides programs and services in areas such as personal finance, entrepreneurship, business development, and economic literacy. The Board also helps community members access job opportunities, develop career skills, and navigate housing and pension matters.

    About the Role

  • General Financial Assistance Advisor : In this role, you would guide community members on various aspects of personal finance, including budgeting, savings, and investments. If you possess some knowledge or experience in financial management, your insights could be highly beneficial to our community.
  • Job Pension Literacy Advisor : This role entails educating community members about the intricacies of job pension plans. If you have personal experience dealing with pension plans or retirement planning, your expertise could be valuable in this capacity.
  • Legal and Financial Advisor (Unofficial) : As a volunteer for this position, you would provide informal guidance on legal and financial matters. Those with an academic background or practical experience in law or finance may find this role particularly suited to their skills.
  • Resume Prep and Review Advisor : This role involves assisting individuals with crafting and refining their resumes. If you have a background in HR or experience in creating and reviewing resumes, your skills would be greatly appreciated here.
