Description
33 Dundas Street West Toronto Ontario,M5G 3C2The Analyst is accountable to develop and deliver reporting, analytics, and measurement strategies in line with both immediate and long term Canadian P&C Business Banking (BB) Segment business objectives.
Specific Accountabilities
Reporting Proposals
- Responsible to design reporting that is intended to incent, measure, and drive particular business objectives.
- Refine design proposals in collaboration with various stakeholders in other P&C Headquarters teams.
Reporting
- Data in BMO's various data warehouses (IDP,CKBD, PROD_MBA,INSIGHT)
- Salesforce and/or product business information including processes, pricing, product offerings, etc.
- BMO Policies and Procedures (P&P)
- Use specialized query / database tools e.g. SAS, SQL, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to deliver adhoc analytics, as well as regular reporting from Commercial Databases
- Design, develop and implement more efficient production and adhoc reporting processes to maximize the effectiveness of the report production function for ongoing operational reporting needs.
- Design and improve production and adhoc reporting processes.
- Work proactively and collaboratively with key clients and stakeholders to continuously enhance reporting.
Qualifications
- A University degree in an analytical discipline such as statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, operations research, or engineering.
- Indepth familiarity with data manipulation/analysis tools, including SAS, SQL, VBA, Power BI or equivalent data manipulation software
- Strong business communication and stakeholder management skills
- Creative problem solving skills
- Experience in working with BMO data, and familiarity with BMO products and operations
