Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Practice Manager to join our team.
As a Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our ophthalmology office and ensuring the smooth running of all administrative and clinical activities.
This is a key leadership role that requires strong managerial skills and a deep understanding of healthcare practices.Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the office, including human resources, billing, bookkeeping and patient care
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate and schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow
- Oversee the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of office staff
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of office supplies and equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Handle patient complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices
Skills:
- Strong background in office management or healthcare administration
- Proven experience in supervising staff and managing teams effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ophthalmology procedures, and Ministry of Health billing processes
- Familiarity with Oscar EMR software an asset.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional communication skills.

Pay:
$80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
